While discussing new and better prospects for achieving academic excellence my friends started reminiscing about Swedish Universities and its rich and diverse educational background. Convinced by their assessments I enrolled myself in the University of Kalmar which turned out to be a great experience. Offering the highest standards of education Sweden Universities presents a milieu filled with exciting new opportunities and inimitable quality.                              

The cost of living depends on the place of your residence, if you have a zest for living luxuriously then Stockholm will be the perfect abode for you whereas Kalmar where I am currently staying offers something more affordable but  still very comfortable. The best part about student life in Sweden is the array of different cultures you encounter during your stay and all the things you learn from that experience. Though no tuition fee is imposed on any of the universities in Sweden you still have to work to pay off your other financial needs but I didn’t have to worry about that either as landing a Part-Time job in Sweden is not difficult at all and it becomes even easier if you are familiar with the Swedish language. Though it is not necessary for the immigrants to be well acquainted with the Sweden’s national language, it does facilitate you in adapting to your surrounding environment.

I would recommend joining SFI (Swedish for immigrants) to learn Swedish and enhance your chances of working in a highly ambitious and vigorous atmosphere.

Currently working for a developer company in linköping I would suggest this to all foreign students planning on studying in Sweden that though it not a compulsion to learn Swedish it can be highly beneficial for them if they plan on living and working in Sweden.
