Hi, my name is Amanda, coming from Vietnam. It was a pretty tough time for me to decide which country and university I should have applied to take my master degree when I was working as a banker in Vietnam. Sweden came to my mind so naturally once some of my Swedish customers told me that it would be a definitely nice and good option to be there to pursuit my Master in Finance. And so far, I always confirm that it has been one of my best decisions to be in Sweden and apply for a Master in Finance at Umea University.

Swedish people are friendly and they can speak English as well as English native speakers. The weather here is so nice and the environment is so perfect that I and my friends prefer to spend most of my free time for outdoor activities. At school, the professors are very helpful, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I have experienced many interesting things since the first day I was in Sweden. My classmates come from many different countries so we also have many opportunities to learn each other’s culture.
